Allie

Stylist

Allie’s style is effortless/edgy. We call her our team’s motivational speaker because she’s the hype woman every person needs. Her optimism is contagious and she’s the moral support you need to try on that outfit without being pushy!

What's your background in styling?

I've always loved being fashionable but never could have dreamed up this job for myself! After being a stay at home mom for 8 years, I felt a little lost and wanted an excuse to put on cute clothes again, so I began working at a local boutique. I LOVED it!! I loved helping women feel beautiful, gain confidence, and find their own personal style. Blair and I met on the soccer field (our boys are on the same team). She recruited me to join her team in the spring of 2022 and the rest is history!!

How would you describe your personal style and approach to fashion?

I enjoy outfits that feel simple and effortless but have a pop of something that makes it fun, funky, edgy, or unique.

If you could only shop at three stores for the rest of your life, where would you choose?

Abercrombie, Anthropologie and Dillards

What's your style motto?

Have a willingness to try! Don't be afraid to try things on or play around in the dressing room. Some items look awful on the hanger but amazing on a woman's body (or vice versa)! Sometimes you never know until you try.

What's your favorite part about working with clients?

I love seeing a woman transform not just physically, by what clothes she is wearing, but also mentally and emotionally!! It is an honor to walk through the styling journey with each client. It is a role I do not take lightly and I am honored to be invited into that intimate space with each client. I love seeing them gain confidence, feel beautiful, and find their own personal style.

How do you understand someone's personal style and help them stay true to themselves?

I ask a lot of questions, approaching each client with curiosity. I ask questions to help me understand who you are, how you feel, and how you want to portray yourself. Sometimes I pick up on a style that someone has that they never recognized themselves. By communicating what I see and asking frequently about how they feel, we discover what's true for them.

If you could say one thing to someone struggling with not loving their wardrobe, body or style... what would it be?

Set aside time to shop in store instead of online. Shopping in stores helps you get a better fit because you can try on multiple options/sizes to find what's best for your unique figure. Ignore the size on the tag and focus on how something fits. Sizes can be weird sometimes and it isn't a reflection of who you are!
