3 easy ways to transition your wardrobe to Spring

1. Lighten and brighten.

Instead of grabbing that trusty ole black sweater, opt for a pretty pastel sweater in shades of blue, pink, or green. Or grab a bright and colorful blazer to top off your tee and denim look. Lighter denim will also instantly update your look to a more spring time feel, along with cuts of denim that are a bit more cropped to show some ankle while keeping warm. If you choose a cropped denim, a clog or a mule can be a great shoe choice to polish off your look – or a fashion sneaker can also be a great choice! Grab a lighter colored belt and shoe in the same tone and you are instantly dressed with intention and ready for Spring!

2. Think about your fabric choices.

It’s time to put the wool, velvet, and other heavier fabrics away for spring. Instead, think loose knits, open weave sweaters, and cotton. If it’s still quite cold, cream and winter whites are great options during these times of the year. And yes, it’s okay to wear white jeans after Labor Day! Our favorite white jeans are rounded up here!

3. Layering is key.

Layering is key as we transition to warmer weather. The perfect lightweight jacket, cotton blazer or trench can easily take your tee and jeans look from plain to fab in seconds. To make a blazer feel more casual, try cuffing the sleeves and keeping it unbuttoned. Shop our favorite jackets for Spring here.
