A good pair of jeans is a fall essential, and ladies, it’s okay to buy two pairs of your favorites. Why? So one can be worn with heels and boots and the others hemmed a bit shorter for fashion sneakers and flats. You’re going to get so much wear out of them, so calculate your cost per wear instead of thinking about it as a total purchase cost.

“Once you’ve tried Mother Denim, it’s hard to go back,” she says.
A dark wash jean is so seasonally appropriate. You can store your super light wash or overly distressed jeans for next spring because fall and winter tends to lean towards darker washes.
